A Backpacking Traveler Who Yearns to Explore More Of The World I help beginners build confidence in conversational English—slow, clear, and fun! My travels (and speaking 4 languages) taught me how to connect across cultures. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me geeking out over sci-fi audiobooks or debating fantasy movie plots—great for casual English practice too! I spent a few months teaching in Colombia, during the pandemic, and it was an amazing experience and I wish I had dedicated more time to it. I have a TESOL certification that I received in 2020. I'm not qualified to help with test preparation, and do not offer any grammar lessons, only conversational practice, that is hopefully fun and engaging. I'm a big believer in listening and repeating, while simultaneously reading if possible, and taking your time in annunciating things correctly, that way there are no errors further down the road, if you have a good basis. My experience with learning has taught me that slow speaking and having a conversation about day to day things if fundamental to speaking a new language.
