Yusuf

Yusuf ji has a very unique teaching style. His lessons motivate me to continue learning more. They feel more like I’m learning by talking naturally instead of cramming a bookish style of speaking that is not used in real life. Shukriya!

I have been taking lessons from Yusuf for over 2 years now! He has helped me so much with both Gujarati and Hindi. Every lesson he goes above and beyond! He gives valuable knowledge and practice, but he also gives the encouragement to keep learning and improving!

I spend a lot of the lesson uncomfortably trying to say things that are just within or just outside my reach. It's great! Would recommend.

After many lessons with Yusuf and lots of independent study/practice, I am excited to find my Gujarati is getting quite conversational now. Yusuf’s encouragement and gentle corrections make our lessons feel like a safe space for me to learn and grow and he makes an effort to personalise our conversations to my experiences. I’m hopeful that this will be the first language I’ll one day be fluent in!
