It wouldn't be exaggerating to say that I live with the people who learn the Japanese language. While helping them to acquire Japanese skills, I'm also able to learn about their country, culture and even my own country Japan. Which is fun and helps me improve myself. I like to learn new things and I like to help people who study really hard. I’m interested in learning languages, staying active with sports, focusing on health, cooking, and playing the piano and violin.
Me as a Teacher
How to acquire Japanese is different for each person. Since 2013 I've been teaching Japanese online to people all over the world from beginner to advanced. Therefore I can help you to acquire Japanese better and I can also help students of all skill levels by using my experience. Especially as absolute beginners you might be afraid to speak, but don't worry. I'm a very patient and positive person. So my lessons are fun and you can relax. I really enjoy working with students who want to learn and make progress. My lessons & teaching style
My class is very flexible and we can do what you need. For example, this is what I often do in my class: conversational practice, reading novels/articles/news, learning grammar, preparation for exams and more. In order to not forget everything that you’ve learned with me, you should review it everyday. If you make mistakes during the lessons, I can correct it with text and speaking and if you need homework, I will give you some. In the next lesson we will check it together.

This was a fantastic first lesson with Sato-san. She is very thorough and was good at showing and explaining what the strokes should look like.
She provided the resources and we practiced the strokes until they looked better. She also provided homework and exercises to do to improve the strokes. I really enjoyed the lesson. If you'd like beautiful handwriting, Sato-san is an excellent instructor.
