After several years of working in Taiwan, living in India and in Barbados, and traveling with a backpack worldwide, I decided to settle down in my hometown Paris. I like : Meditation, Abs workout, baking, painting, drawing, playing piano, personal development and travels and you ? I'm also passionated about learning languages.
My name is Sylvie. I'm a french native speaker (with a Parisian accent) and I'm looking forward to teaching you this beautiful language. My lessons will be based mostly on conversations, and I will surely customize them to your needs. I have also experience in tutoring French high school pupils preparing for the french Bac exam. I've been teaching on Italki for almost 6 years now and I've helped more than 300 students in their journey of learning French. As a tutor, I always try my best to help my students and I feel rewarding to see their improvement over the time. I am specialized in Delf A2,B1,B2 oral exam preparation.
I have experience from teaching French to kids, teenagers and adults. During the first session, I will assess your language level and give you a better perspective of your communication skills. I always try to make this first lesson joyful and valuable. I like to talk about anything and everything is interesting to me :) I usually prepare subjects and send it to you before the lesson, so you have time to prepare. I also don't prepare, that depends on you. I'm usually really enthousiastic about meeting new students in my tutor journey....My teaching material

This is very helpful when I need to understand a concept or word, or even pronunciation , and cannot yet convey my ideas in French.
