I am truly passionate about being a teacher and I have taught in various contexts for over six years. There is nothing that brings me greater joy than seeing my students excel in their classes and use the target language. I also work as a therapy practitioner, so I love to connect with people and my passion lies in supporting others. Conversational lessons are informal. I teach students who want to focus on their oral fluency with a native English speaker. Language feedback and correction is always given, but it is much more relaxed.My teaching material

Tutor PreplyI have been teaching on a website called Preply to gain some experience teaching students. I have had good reviews and my students comment that they enjoy my lessons.
2012 - 2014
Tutor FreelanceAfter graduating from high school in Bali, I began paid tutoring for younger learners (10-13 years old) in subjects such as mathematics and english. Their parents hired me as a tutor to help their children to prepare for their IGCSEs and GCSEs.
2014 - 2016
Scuba Instrcutor Manta DiveI moved to Gili Air and I worked initially as a Scuba Dive Master, then trained to professionally become a Scuba Dive Instructor. I spent a year teaching students of various level and certifying them in Open Water, Advanced and Dive Rescue courses. I left this position as I incurred permanent damage to my left ear as a result of a ruptured ear drum.
2014 - 2018
Yoga Teacher FreelanceI worked as a freelance yoga teacher for many years at various locations in Indonesia (such as the Yoga Barn) and in the UK. This included teaching and organising 60 minutes to 90 minute classes.

CELTA International House 2021I completed a five-week intensive CELTA course ran by International House tutors. It included a total of 8 hours teaching classes of 2 to 10 students, 4 final written assignments and a 100% attendance rate.
