Chi

Chi is hands down the best teacher I’ve ever had. She comes prepared with exercises and homework, and she’s always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you get the practice you need. Even when you’re feeling discouraged, she’s there to motivate you. Chi doesn’t just teach the language—she also shares insights into Vietnamese culture and explains the origins of certain words. Her lessons are always engaging and interactive, and I notice improvement every time. I’m incredibly grateful to have Chi as my teacher, she truly is the best.

Today's lesson was super fun. We talked about personality types such as introverts and extroverts, party animals and homebodies, etc. Chi always encourages me to build my vocabulary by trying new discussion topics like this. She also patiently corrects my many pronunciation errors. Thank you Chi.

I have been meaning to write a review for Chi for a while now! I have been studying with her for two months and really enjoy my lessons with her. She is great at coming up with topics/questions to keep our conversations going and teaching me the meaning of new words in Vietnamese so I am able to practice my listening while also learning new things. Although I was really nervous for our first few lessons, Chi was always very encouraging and supportive and could tell when I needed some help or I could figure out what I wanted to say on my own. I have become a lot more comfortable and confident in my conversational skills since beginning lessons with Chi, and I'm excited to learn a lot more in the future!

Chi had a lot of good, useful vocabulary to teach me during our lesson. She gives background and context to help me understand the right way to use it. I also find her to be very preserving when it comes to making sure I understand and she’s patient about it as well. I don’t feel nervous to say I don’t understand.

I enjoy every lesson with Chi. I have seen a lot of improvement in my listening skills since I started studying with her.

I'm thrilled to have found Chi as my teacher. I was specifically looking for someone who teaches the south Vietnamese accent, and she's been perfect. Chi has a very clear pronunciation and is incredibly patient. She's tailored her teaching to my needs and provides lessons that include recordings of her voice, which I find very helpful. I'm definitely going to continue learning with Chi to achieve my language goals.
