Chi

Chi has a wonderful talent for starting conversations on interesting topics. This is such a great way to build vocabulary. Each new topic introduces many new words related to that topic. I learn at least 20 new words with every new topic she introduces. Thank you Chi for helping me to improve my conversational ability in this way.

Chi has been such a great teacher for me these past 2 years. She finds a great balance of affirming where you are at and pushing you to do better. ☺️ You’d be lucky to work with her!

I have had with Chi for a long long time and she has always been energetic and caring in every class. She is also really thoughtful and understanding. I have never felt uncomfortable or bored in her class and in fact it's always her class that makes me feel relaxed after a whole day. She is definitely the teacher you want to consider learning Vietnamese with.

I have been meaning to write a review for Chi for a while now! I have been studying with her for two months and really enjoy my lessons with her. She is great at coming up with topics/questions to keep our conversations going and teaching me the meaning of new words in Vietnamese so I am able to practice my listening while also learning new things. Although I was really nervous for our first few lessons, Chi was always very encouraging and supportive and could tell when I needed some help or I could figure out what I wanted to say on my own. I have become a lot more comfortable and confident in my conversational skills since beginning lessons with Chi, and I'm excited to learn a lot more in the future!

Just had a great lesson with Chi. We talked about reading children's books. It's a fabulous idea to have fun enjoying learning while building vocabulary. Thank you Chi for making the lesson so interesting.

Chi's lessons are wonderful. Today I tried to read in Vietnamese and she helpfully corrected the words which I misunderstood. I never would have gotten through this reading with just a dictionary, so I was super happy that Chi could help me learn in this way.
