DIA 디아🌟

I love every session with Dia. She is funny, patient, kind and outgoing. The material is clear and very detailed. Through a combinaition of carefully planned lessons, homeworks and feedback, she guides you so that the learning process remains fun and clear. Every class gives you plenty of opportunities to speak, read and practice newly acquired material. I would 1000000% recommend her to anyone wishing to learn Korean.

I just finished chapter 1 with 디아씨 and I can truly say that she is a wonderful teacher! She breaks topics down in easy to understand ways and it’s obvious that she put a lot of thought and effort in how she built her lessons & learning materials. It’s structured in the perfect way for learning and you get to put the topics into practice right away. Beyond this, 디아씨 is just great person! I love that we are learning about each other in each lesson and that she genuinely cares to get to know me! She is also extremely encouraging and patient. So, I feel at ease in class, even if I forgot something or make a mistake! Looking forward to continuing to learn from her!

디아님 is amazing! From when I started with her in September as shy and self-conscious (I'd only studied Korean by myself for a few months before) to now, when I just finished chapter 3 with her, I've only become MORE motivated to keep learning. 디아님 brings such great energy and creativity to each lesson - even when I'm tired, I always finish the lesson feeling more energized! She sends homework after each class, reinforcing the vocabulary and grammar we learned, and shares all the chapter vocab though her Quizlets. And 디아님 isn't just a great teacher — she's also a great person. In February, I went to Seoul by myself, and she worked with me for weeks beforehand on key phrases, how to navigate the subway and bus system, and places to go (망원시장!). When I was there, she checked in on me to make sure I was OK and doing well! 디아님 has changed my life. I'm so grateful. Take lessons with her!

The first lesson with Dia went really well. She was able to explain the basics in a way for me to understand, a part that I have been struggling with since I started learning Korean on my own.
