I've been taking Arabic lessons with AbdelRahman for a couple of months now, and I couldn’t be happier. He’s always well-prepared and structures the classes in a way that makes things easy to follow and build on. He’s very patient, and you can tell he really cares about helping you learn. He also explains things clearly and takes the time to make sure everything makes sense before moving on. I’ve made steady progress since starting with him, and his support has made a big difference. Highly recommend if you're looking for a thoughtful and reliable teacher!

AbdelRahman is by far the most effective Arabic teacher I’ve ever had. I am resuming lessons after a prolonged (years) break, & am also preparing to take the ILR test for the foreign service. He came up with a whole ten class lesson plan to jump start the process. It was a little bit difficult for me to figure out how far back I’d need to go but he quickly assessed my level & has done an excellent job at meeting me there. I am very quickly regaining confidence. My speech production is what I have the most difficulty with but he is patient, gives corrections on the spot, & so easily identifies areas of difficulty. He also speaks beyond fluent English which is extremely helpful to translate nuances between the two languages. In short, after three weeks I’ve gone from not remembering how to describe what I ate for breakfast to being able to give basic presentations about women’s rights & international relations. I plan to work with him for the long run. Look no further & set up a lesson!

I can only highly recommend Abdelrahman as a teacher. He is very kind, comprehensive and clear to make you feel more confident speaking in Arabic. Among the best teacher for me so far !

It's hard to put into words how incredible of a teacher AbdelRahman Hashem is. First off, his passion for teaching Arabic language and culture is evident from the start. Deep diving into etymology that enriches our lessons is one of my favorite parts of our sessions. He weaves language and culture together in a way that helps cement learning on my end. I was looking for a more structured way to learn Arabic and was struggling with learning MSA vs Levantine dialect. Fortunately, AbdelRahman blends these together in a way that I can learn them simultaneously. His enthusiasm, professionalism, and passion inspire me to do my best, but more importantly, gives me the confidence I that I can one day speak and write Arabic fluently.

I really enjoy my classes with this teacher. He is very helpful, knowledgeable, and able to explain complex topics. He is also a teacher who cares. He is patient and adaptive to the needs of a student. After more than a dozen of lessons I do feel certain improvement in my Arabic, and I am intended to continue my language journey with AbdelRahman!
