I did a 30 minute conversational lesson with Denys. He's a very friendly guy, and I had a lot of fun talking to him about general life, Mexican slang, and language learning. Thanks Denys!

I really enjoyed my lesson with Dennis (Denys). He had a number of very interesting strategies regarding comprehensible input and understanding the difference between active and passive learning of a new language. I was also surprised that he was able to understand my jokes in Spanish. This was important because I know that somebody could probably correct every other sentence I was using, but since my goal was to build up confidence and pronunciation, he mostly offered up corrections where I was making some major mistakes only. I’m looking forward to having some future lessons and building off of the suggestions that Dennis gave me.

First lesson with Denys and it was absolutely top notch. He knows a lot about language acquisition and learning, carries a very fluid and engaging conversation, and is incredibly motivating. Great guy!
