Hello! My name is Hilary and I am a clinical doctor with a passion for languages! I grew up in a bilingual household and acquired a love for languages since early childhood. As a doctor I interpreted and translated for many patients and professional colleagues. In 2019 I obtained my TEFL certificate to teach English to foreign language learners. I am a teacher prepared to help beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. I also like to think of myself as a student's personal coach who helps motivates them to continue the journey of dedication, time, and hard work. Everyone has different learning styles, and I tailor my classes according to each student's needs and interests. That being said, I still emphasize reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in my lessons. I try my best to incorporate a kinesthetic approach by using interactive listening/writing exercises, reading materials, and videos. These activities also help us practice speaking English!
