My name is Claire, I'm 30 years old.
I am a native French speaker, graduated with a Master's degree in teaching French as a foreign language.
I love learning languages so I know how hard it is. Beside that, I like traveling, watching anime, reading, drawing... I am sure we'll have something in common to talk about :)Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I try to have as kind of an attitude as possible to make you feel comfortable. I believe there is no shame in making mistakes, searching for words, or forgetting something that we have learned. Honesty regarding your goals is one of the key to success without frustration, because learning and speaking a new language takes time. My lessons & teaching style
The content of the lesson can be very flexible depending on your needs : having a conversation, studying specific grammar/vocabulary, reading the news, discovering French culture, preparing an exam. Regardless of the content, the role of the student is active in their learning.
For children :
I provide lessons for children from 6 years old. I use various materials to make the learning experience as fun and interactive as possible. First time learners will have a slow and progressive introduction to French, mainly by exposing them to the language through songs, books, games and videos. Kids lessons are not as formal as for adults to make the learning process closer to native speakers.My teaching material

I just had my first lesson with Claire, and I really enjoyed it! It was my first time trying to have a conversation in French, and Claire spoke slowly at a level I could follow. She was very friendly and patient, giving me the time to think and express myself, even when I struggled to find the right words. Claire also discussed my learning goals and provided helpful resources tailored to my interests. Throughout the lesson, she took notes and corrected my mistakes, which is really useful for reviewing later. I also mentioned that I plan to visit Brittany next year, and she kindly gave me some great travel recommendations. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their French!
