Hello everyone, my name is Bei Cai. You can call me Bei! I come from mainland China. I have a great passion in learning new things, especially languages through which I can broaden my sight as behind every language there is a different culture. I am also a fitness enthusiast and I am trying to make progress in body building. I like cooking and trying to be creative in recipes. I am a very patient person and like to reflect and improve. I hope these qualities can make me a better teacher and help more people around the world who are curious of learning Chinese and its culture! Can't wait to meet you!Me as a Teacher
I obtained a bachelor degree majoring in Italian and English. Afterwards I have been working for Italian government. I have been teaching Italian and Chinese during my free time from which I acquired some experience as a language teacher and found my passion in this field. In the year of 2018, desiring to become more professional, I have prepared for the examination and interview of the Certificate for Chinese Teachers to Speakers of Other Languages and succeeded in obtaining the official qualification to be a Chinese teacher. As a teacher I believe that teaching benefits students as well as teachers (in Chinese 教学相长). I can't wait to not only teach you chinese but also learn from you! My lessons & teaching style
The lessons' content will be chosen according to your needs. I like to make clear the learning targets with you at the beginning of every lesson and try to make the teaching process fun and effective. If possible, I prefer cutting down the use of foreign languages in my lesson. I will try to slow down and use simple words and be creative when explaining:) (PS: since I will be occupied with university study in 2022-2023, in my Italki schedule, I'm available only on Fraidy, Saturday and Sunday. Bei keeps my lesson memorable. Today’s lesson was excellent, she chose a topic I could truly relate to. I learned a term that’s easy to remember and use in real conversations. Being able to carry even one new term or one character with me each week feels plenty, meaningful and lasting.

I chose to challenge myself and discuss a topic that I knew was difficult for my level - but at the same time very interesting, and I am very happy to have been able to talk about this sort of complex things with Bei Cai. Bei always starts the lesson with a light conversation about our life updates. She then transitions into the lesson, naturally integrating the topics, phrases, and vocabulary into our earlier discussion or expanding on them. I have plenty of opportunities to speak, though it is challenging to think of the right words in the moment. I appreciate that Bei always chooses interesting subjects so that I can relate to them, I’m able to share stories while practicing my speaking. Thank you, Bei!
