Giovanni is very kind, open, and genuinely interested, which makes our free-flowing conversations really enjoyable and creates a very welcoming atmosphere. He is always happy to help with any language questions and explains things clearly, making it both pleasant and useful to practice Italian with him.

Another great class with Giovanni, as always! Classes are always interesting and informative. Bonus that Giovanni is extremely patient and doesn't rush to correct you, instead giving time for you to remember the word or phrase yourself. Highly recommended!

Giovanni is the best teacher I could ask for - his patience always makes me comfortable with my mistakes as I learn. When I think about the other language teachers I have had in the past, my lasting memory is of how nervous I would feel prior to a class. Because of Giovanni's encouragement and patience I never feel this way; I come to class looking forward to the process of learning and making mistakes. He is knowledgable about how to teach, and works within my strengths to get me to a level where I feel confident. 10/10 would recommend.

I just had another lesson with Giovanni. While Italki has changed recently, I am happy to say that Giovanni has not! He is still the calm, helpful, intelligent person that he's always been. He still taking the time to help me learn Italian and he seems very interested in knowing things about me and the United States where I live. I have always recommended him, and nothing has changed with that either!

I've had quite a few lessons with Giovanni now, and I can honestly say he's a really good teacher. His lessons are interactive and conversational, which I really enjoy because it feels like you're learning how to actually speak Italian rather than just memorising words and phrases. He explains things clearly, adapts the lessons to your level, and always encourages you to keep speaking.
