Hello! I’m Jennifer, a TEFL-certified English tutor with 4 years of experience. As a native English speaker who also speaks Spanish (C1) and French (B2), I understand the challenges and the joys of language learning. My background in business (I hold degrees in accounting, HR, and management) means I can help you navigate professional English too. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me reading, writing, sewing and traveling. I also love to watch movies and TV series. I have a passion for learning and teaching languages. I speak Spanish and French, as well as, English. My goal is to make you feel comfortable in class so that you can concentrate on practicing and improving your English. I teach primarily through conversation which is the way I learned Spanish and French. I take classes on italki just like you. I can completely relate to the frustrations that you encounter while learning but I also know that it can be an extremely fun and rewarding process. My lessons are conversation based. In my experience this is the best way to learn a language - through comprehensible input and practice. When you have conversations you are both obtaining input through listening and also developing your English speaking skills while talking. I am a very laid-back person and I get along with just about everyone. My personality puts people at ease and makes it easier for my students to relax in class which I know allows them to progress faster. I've learned 2 languages myself and I know that it is a journey. I would like to get to know you, help you succeed and also to help you find the joy in language learning.Certificates
