CELTA-Qualified, Experienced ESL Teacher Hello! My name is Cara and I am from Manchester, England. I recently returned from Vietnam, where I mainly taught in primary public schools and a private language centre, but also taught teenagers, college students and adults online. After a 2 year break from italki, I have just began travelling and volunteering around Europe, which is the perfect time for me to resume online teaching as my life moves in a different direction! My free time is slightly limited and my schedule varies week by week and I often do not know my schedule in advance, so unfortunately I cannot guarantee set hours right now. If you are okay with irregularity and are flexible in your schedule, please take a look at my current availability and see if we can make it work! I love travel, nature, reading, writing, languages, meeting new people and learning new things about the world. I am friendly, approachable and open minded and love to connect with new people on iTalki and have interesting discussions. I believe that a friendly atmosphere and a place where students feel relaxed is important. I am always happy to have open conversations and share experiences so we can get to know each other and chat whilst learning. Conversation practice is the key to success in language learning, so I'm always up for a chat and we can help to improve your English skills as we go. Or, if you prefer a more structured approach, I have materials to help you improve in whatever aspect of language you'd like. Let's chat!

Attending Ms Conte's classes has been a pleasure. She is professional, and I appreciate her way of informal teaching, which is incredible. She is undoubtedly flexible regarding the student's needs, as she has catered our classes to what I needed. I highly recommend her if you want to learn English with a supportive and well-organised teacher or have a friendly chat with an endearing and open-minded person to gain more confidence when speaking English. The lessons are fab, and you have the gift of gab. 😂😎. Sending all the good vibes your way! Thanks Cara:)
