I’m from Japan and currently live in France. フランスに住んでいます！
I am a professional teacher, travel planner, and Japanese life advisor.
I speak English and I'm working hard on learning French now!
I'm an avid traveler and always wish to connect with people around the world.
Apart from traveling, I enjoy eating, drawing and soaking up the sunshine :)

I am a professional teacher, travel planner, and Japanese life advisor.
I am certified to teach Japanese and have experience launching and organising language programs. I have personally faced the challenges of learning English and French, so I understand how difficult it can be to learn new languages and what is needed to improve language skills.
I hold a national qualification in the travel industry and also work as a travel planner. So, I can not only teach you Japanese for travel purposes but also help you plan your trip. If you are already in Japan, I'm here to assist with anything related to Japanese life, such as CV corrections and job interview practice.My lessons & teaching style
Acquiring knowledge, such as grammar and vocabulary, can be done on your own. However, struggling to make progress due to inefficient learning or advancing with misconceptions is a disadvantage of self-study. I believe that the primary role of a teacher is to ensure that learners steadily and confidently advance along the language learning path.
My lessons are based on conversation, but they're more than just casual chatting. I'll correct your errors, improve your pronunciation, and assist you in making Japanese your own. I'll provide appropriate feedback on your Japanese and guide you towards an effective learning path.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Fantastic first lesson that I booked with Maru-San at short notice. Maru-san is a fantastic teacher to practice my Japanese. She corrects my mistakes patiently, explains, makes notes. She is an enjoyable person to speak to and the lesson time just flies by!

It was my first lesson with Maru-sensei, but the lesson was very enjoyable. We managed to talk about a lot of different things and she was incredibly patient when I couldn't recall a word and took her time to re-phrase things when needed to make sure I understood correctly. Highly recommended!
