こんにちは! My name is Mimi🌸
I was born in Toyama, Japan, and moved to Australia in 2019.
I have traveled and lived in several countries. I enjoyed meeting new people and experiencing their different cultures. I was a kindergarten teacher in Japan. Currently, I have my own business based in Australia and also teach Japanese to help people with their studies.
I feel I can help you due to my experience of living alone in different countries, not only studying from textbooks and school but also self-taught.
I love helping people it’s my passion!
I love cooking🍳, traveling✈️, cosmetics💄 and trying new restaurants🍽😋
(I'm a big fan of ONEPIECE😍🏴☠️⛵️👒)
Me as a Teacher
What would you say when you ate food that you found delicious and yummy?
When expressing words, it differs for each person.
When I was learning a second language, I felt I had a different personality because I wasn’t confident compared to when I spoke Japanese. It upset me a lot because I didn’t know much vocabulary so I couldn't choose the word that suits my personality.
That's why I want to help you!
Not only with polite Japanese but also with the word choices that express your personality.
Being able to be yourself when you speak Japanese should enrich your Japanese Life✨

Mimi-sensei is an amazing teacher and a wonderful human being! I started taking lessons from barely knowing any conversational Japanese because I wanted to somewhat prepare for my vacation to Japan. Mimi is a great conversationalist and makes it so easy and fun to learn - and when I did go visit Japan, I was able to use what I learned from Mimi to understanding several phrases and words all around me. Examples being - knowing which side of the train the door was going to open (before the English announcement), knowing somewhat how to order from restaurants, asking for the check, introducing myself to new friends, and overall basic conversation. I always have a great time with the lessons. Arigatou gozaimasu~, Mimi-sensei!

I just had my first lesson with Mimi-san. I loved it! Her personality is so vibrant. She asks good questions and makes insightful comments about my answers. She also freely talks about herself. I think she’s a perfect conversation partner.
