About Me

Learning a language is one of the most beautiful things we can do.

I spend much of my time engaged with classic(al) works in the attempt to become polyliteratre—that is, gain the ability to read original texts fluently in multiple languages. Thus far, I've taught myself to read both French and Italian, along with intermediate Latin and Russian. Further on, I plan to tackle German, Ancient Greek, and Persian.
I want to say that this is fully possible for anyone with the proper passion!

One of my favorite ways of engaging with my students is by teaching them how to learn (or at least—what has worked for me).
The heart of any language is its literature.
