Hi, I'm Marie 😀 I am here for you to help learning Japanese! 🌸🌸🌸 🟩 I love teaching Japanese and learning different languages and cultures. 🟩 I speak English and German, and have been learning French, Chinese and Korean. 🟩 Also like cycling, traveling and cooking. Since I moved from Germany to Japan, my lesson availability has changed starting in the summer of 2024.

🌸 friendly and patient 🌸 Many of my students have studied Japanese from scratch with me. 🌸 I will make you feel confident to speak and safe to make mistakes in my classes so that you can learn effectively and have fun. 🌸 In my class you can learn not only Japanese language, but also Japanese culture, customs and way of thinking. 🔹Three years of experience teaching private Japanese lessons. 🔹Two and a half years of experience teaching Japanese as a heritage language at a Japanese supplementary school. 補習校（小学生・中学生・高校生クラス）での指導経験があります。 🔹I can also provide tutoring in Japanese literature and essay writing.　小論文や日本文学の指導もできます。継承語教育もお気軽にご相談ください。

My lessons & teaching style

📚 I am using the material of the Japan Foundation, Irodori, as a main textbook. 🐣The course for beginners covers grammar, listening, reading, speaking and writing, but focuses more on verbal communication. 🦜Intermediate and advanced classes can be customised to meet your interests and needs, so please let me know if you have any requests. In meinen Anfängerkursen lernen Sie mit "Irodori", einem kommunikationsorientierten Lernmaterial von Japan Foundation ( ein öffentliches Institut in Japan, wie Goethe-Institut in Deutschland ). Für Fortgeschrittene würde ich gerne den Unterricht an Ihre Interessen und Bedürfnisse anpassen. Also bitte teilen Sie mir Ihre Wünsche mit.

Lessons with Marie are fun and the time goes by very quickly every time. Marie is super nice, can explain the topics very well and knows an answer to every question. I started Japanese from scratch and I can already see that I'm making good progress. The material is nicely prepared, and you get an overview of what you have done after each class. I can definitely recommend the lessons with her and will definitely book more classes myself! :)
