Hi everyone! This is a safe LGBTQIA+ space. I'm a transgender non-binary person (they/them).
I love this job! And I’m grateful for all the students I’ve met.
I speak foreign languages on a daily basis and from this practice I gain a better understanding of my students’ experience.
I love getting to know people who live different lives from mine, so be prepared to receive lots of curious, friendly questions!Me as a Teacher
Reading a lot during childhood helped me develop a great taste for the italian language and its infinite nuances. Students appreciate my clear and neutral accent.

I offer conversational classes only. You must have a minimum foundation of the language in order to approach a conversation. Don’t worry though: we’ll start small!

As always, it was a real pleasure to talk with Elias. It cannot be easy listening to my Italian but they help me say what I want to say and show me that I can make myself understood. They are a very confidence-building teacher and it is really enjoyable working with them.

I have had 3 amazing sessions with Sonai and deeply appreciate the support so far on this language (and life!) learning journey. I normally have so much nervousness in speaking but Sonai has a way of connecting where I don't feel afraid to make mistakes and somehow they seem to understand and the conversation keeps going. It is really great and feels a little miraculous :D. I have left each session feeling more confident and excited in the possibilities to come. Thank you so much for the support Sonai!
