I've been teaching more than 20 years now.
As a language teacher, I started teaching Japanese in Brazil in 2014.
But I also taught music, English and other materials for kids in Japan, so teaching was always my passion.
I started teaching online in 2019, and now I teach every single day.
I love to see the students' progress so every level is welcome in my lesson.
Recently I started to learn Chinese and French online, too, in order to, of course, improve my language skills but also to understand my students' difficulties.
I've been discovering a lot of things by learning languages as a student, and that's helping me to set my mind and to reflect to and to improve my own lesson. My lessons & teaching style
I have materials to practice building Japanese frases in your head and start speaking right away.
I'm also good at explaining grammar.
If you're a total beginner, don't worry, I'll explain everything in English or other languages, but I also want you to challenge to listen pure Japanese and try to understand the context.
For intermediate and advanced students, I use articles and stories to strengthen their proficiencies.
I love talking about culture or history, too.
I can always customize your lessons depending on your needs, or I can measure you level instantly.

Harumi-sensei is very encouraging. I find myself forgetting works and things and it feels bad, but she points out my improvement on the understanding of the whole and it gives me that boost. There is some process being made, even when I struggle to remember little things.
I highly recommend her.

It is so invaluable to have someone explain the nuances and guide you to change your way of thinking when learning a language much different than your own. Harumi-sensei's feedback is. ot something that will be explained in any book.
