About Me

In the last few years I've discovered my passion for teaching. I am studying to become a teacher and have already gained some teaching experience, e.g. from 2015 to 2020, I've been tutoring. I also successfully completed my practical semester at a high school from April 2021 to July 2021 and have already taught entire classes there. I am currently teaching German as a foreign language in various classes, as I am still working as a foreign language assistant in France until the end of March 2022.My lessons & teaching style
In meinem Unterricht lege ich Wert auf eine lockere und angstfreie Lernatmosphäre. Fehler sind in meinem Unterricht erlaubt und man muss sich für nichts schämen. Wir alle machen ab und zu Fehler und das ist völlig normal. Der Spaß am Erlernen einer Sprache darf nicht fehlen! Ich hoffe, dass ich dein Interesse an der deutschen Sprache und Kultur wecken kann.
In my lessons, I value a comfortable and fear-free learning atmosphere. Mistakes are allowed in my lessons and there is nothing to be ashamed of. We all make mistakes from time to time and that is completely normal. The fun of learning a language should not be missing! Jasmin ist sehr gelassen und verlässig und die Zeit verfliegt immer so schnell, während ich mich mit ihr vom interessanten Thema ihrer Wahl unterhalte :) Dank des tollen Gesprächs konnte ich heute sogar meine angesammelte Müdigkeit vorübergehend vergessen!

I had my first lesson with Jasmin today. I really enjoyed it. She asked many questions and conducted the lesson in a way that made me feel free to speak. She keeps her turns short, with small inputs that give coherence and fluidity to the lesson. She doesn't interrupt with corrections, unless you get stuck and ask for help. These are two things I really like in a teacher!

In this lesson we put the grammar I've learned in use orally, which is a really good way for me to get used to speaking in German. We also learned some new vocabulary. Jasmin is a friendly and patient teacher.

Durant ma 1ère leçon de test, Jasmin a parlé uniquement en allemand, et c’est très bien ainsi ! Il vaut mieux se plonger totalement dans la langue, pour apprendre à la parler.
