I am born and raised in California and am deeply interested in languages. Moreover, I love to learn anything I can about the rest of the world. I have been teaching adult English for about 7 years and I love working with students all over the world. In my free time, I like to read, cook, listen to music, travel and spend time with my friends and family.Me as a Teacher
I am language learner myself and know firsthand the challenges that come with learning a language. For this reason, I am a very patient teacher and love working with students whether it is to explain a difficult grammar concept or work on a tricky word to pronounce. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are student-centered so students have the opportunity to practice English as much as possible during the lesson. To do this, I like to include enriching activities that practice different skills, such as speaking, listening, reading and writing. I also like to give focus on pronunciation.
As a teacher, I want students to feel comfortable to make mistakes in my class. For this reason, I also love to give positive feedback as much as I can, so students feel reassured and know that they can overcome any obstacle.My teaching material

Today marked my 100th class with Joshua, and like all the previous ones, it was excellent. Joshua is truly an outstanding teacher who consistently prepares high-quality materials and explains concepts clearly, making them easy to understand without relying on rote memorization. He always corrects our mistakes and provides detailed feedback, allowing us to review and continue studying after each class.
It is also worth mentioning that his lessons are engaging, well-structured, and carefully planned. He adapts the topics to his students’ interests, making the classes even more enjoyable. Dedicated, punctual, and genuinely committed to his students’ progress, Joshua is an ideal teacher, and I wholeheartedly recommend his classes!
