Liza is a great language teacher, very friendly, polite and supportive. I've really enjoyed our Shanghainese-classes so far and I'm looking forward to keep studying with her!

Liz is attentive and possess a high verbal aptitude. The later is characterized by the ability to summon examples, antonyms and synonyms in a seamless manner without stammering or hesitation. - Lucky to have found her.

Liza is an exceptionally gifted teacher. I have been wanting to learn Shanghainese for quite a while now, and had trail lessons with various teachers, and Liza stood out with head and shoulders. Through Quizlet and other materials I've been able to pick-up a substantial amount of words in a short period of time, and able now to hold (brief, non-complex) conversations. Her flexibility allows lessons to be tailored to pickup relevant words easily, and Liza will ensure that the level is just the right challenge. It's obvious that I am on a path to fluency and we're always having a lot of fun learning during class, which what learning should be. If you want to learn either Mandarin or Shanghainese with her, best to book teaching slots early, they fill up rather quickly. 谢谢侬灵老师 !

I've been studying Mandarin Chinese with Liza since 4 months now. She is a fantastic teacher who's always well prepared, always on time, patient and knowledgeable. I wholeheartedly recommend studying with her. My journey into Mandarin has been nothing but a real pleasure so far :)
