About Me

I was born and raised in Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance and of the Italian language. I love my city and my culture, but I’m also passionate about travel and discovering new places. Since I teach online full-time, I get to connect globally with students from all over the world—even while working from abroad.
Languages have always fascinated me. I speak English fluently and have some knowledge of French and Russian. Lately, I’ve started learning Swahili, just for the joy of it! I enjoy cooking, good wine, and meaningful conversations. I also practice yoga, spend time in nature, and relax with books, music, and a bit of writing.Me as a Teacher
I’ve always loved languages! I studied Latin, Ancient Greek, and classical humanities in high school, then went on to study Education Sciences at the University of Florence. Later, I specialized in teaching Italian as a foreign language at the University of Siena.
I’ve been teaching Italian for almost 10 years now – first in language schools in Florence and in Moscow, and since 2015 as a freelance online teacher.

My lessons are interactive, practical, and focused on real communication. I use engaging activities and quality materials to help you develop all your language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—in a balanced way. I’ll encourage you to start speaking from day one, without pressure. Grammar is important, but always as a tool to support communication. I also focus on building useful vocabulary in context.
