As a doctor who’s working with many Arabic speaking patients, the theme of my content is medicine based. Predominantly learning to ask questions! Week by week I feel and know that Doha is the right teacher for me!!

Doha is a wonderful teacher and also a really nice person! I've had 5 or 6 lessons with her so far. I'm a complete beginner, and I'm making good progress with both spoken and written Arabic already. She provides lots of interesting materials and is also happy to work with the coursework materials I bring. Every lesson she shares new vocabulary (including creating a Word document to share) and teaches me how to make sentences based on topics that come up naturally in our conversation, family, health, work, weather, etc. I particularly want to work on my Arabic pronunciation so I can communicate clearly and be understood by Arabic speaking clients, and she's especially good at helping me to sound out the difficult words and practice them in different sentences. She also spends the last 5 minutes of every lesson making a voice recording of the new vocabulary for me so that I can practice at home. If you're a beginner like me (or even if you're not) I'd highly recommend Doha's lessons :-)

Doha inspires and motivates me to reach to higher levels. Some of the literature we review is daunting for me initially but after the lesson it becomes so much more easier to understand. She is genuinely interested in helping me improve and building my confidence in both reading and speaking.

Doha is very inspiring and has enhanced my language skills tremendously. She creates a comfortable learning environment and encourages me to strive to higher levels. She speaks Arabic very clearly and uses just the right amount of English when needed. She uses diverse materials including stories, poems, and quotations. This variety keeps the lessons interesting and allows me to learn different aspects of the Arabic language and culture. I feel fortunate to have such a motivating teacher.
