こんにちは。Yasuです！
今、わたしは東京にすんでいます。出身（しゅっしん）は福岡（ふくおか）です。
(I live in Tokyo. My hometown is Fukuoka)
以前、中国の寧波（Ningbo）で3年、インドのバンガロール（Bangalore）で3年はたらいていました。
(I have worked in Ningbo, China for 3 years and in Bangalore, India for 3 years.)
今まで英語や中国語を勉強した経験があります。（中国語は途中でギブアップしてしまいました...）
(I have studied English and Chinese before. (I gave up on Chinese halfway through...)
今はベトナム語を勉強しています。ですので、外国語を勉強する楽しさや大変さがわかります。
(Now I am studying Vietnamese. So I understand the fun and difficulty of studying a foreign language.)
しゅみはスポーツと旅行（りょこう）です。
(My hobbies are playing sports and traveling.)
タイや韓国やトルコなどに行ったことがあります。

We reviewed and practiced, which was something I definitely needed. It is important that your teacher know when it’s better to stop and review, rather than plow along. I really want to learn this language and I know my teacher is truly invested in helping me learn it!

Sensei Tanaka is very patient and will keep at it until you get it right. I appreciate that he doesn’t let me get away with sliding by! He also figures out different ways to explain things to me if I don’t understand. He is a very good teacher.
