About Me

HOME is a wonderful English word, rich in meaning, and used in expressions I love. I left my HOMETOWN of Boston in 2004, and moved to Spain, a country I loved and FELT AT HOME. In 2015, after years of travel, I settled down in Argentina, the place I now CALL HOME.
Many of my students are immigrants, too. Others want to travel. Some have never left home.
No matter where we are from and what we dream of -- we all want to USE our English -- to connect, to learn, and to grow.

I began teaching English in 2006, in Madrid, Spain.
Today, I teach mostly intermediate and advanced English learners. At this stage of the learning process, many students begin to feel frustrated, insecure about their abilities, or stuck in never-ending "language learning plateaus."
I love helping students navigate and ENJOY this phase of the process. I support them in discovering how to make their journey more interesting, fulfilling, and motivating.My lessons & teaching style
Having learned Spanish as an adult, I am familiar with the fears and challenges that arise. My background in coaching helps me hold a calm, non-judgmental space, where I provide the empathy and support that is necessary for adult learners. Your classes will be personalized to match your unique interests, wants, and needs - and our path can change over time.
It's also important to note - that these are strange and challenging times. So please know that you can bring your WHOLE self to our classes. Your feelings, thoughts, hopes and fears are always welcome in the safe space that we create together.
