About Me

Born into a family of teachers in Boston, I fell in love with language and writing early. After graduating from McGill University with a degree in History, I moved to Spain, where I began to teach English. Twenty years later, my work is shaped by my experiences as a health coach, Spanish learner, and immigrant in Argentina.
Living and working in an English-speaking environment can be frustrating and isolating. The challenges go beyond grammar and vocabulary, despite what many learners are told. I help students understand what is really happening, and support them as they move toward their goals with greater ease, confidence, and joy.
My primary objective is to help students reach their goals while increasing their confidence and motivation. By paying close attention to each person’s unique wants and needs, I help students build and implement learning systems using the tools, techniques, and motivational practices that fit them best—so they can reach their destination while enjoying the journey.5.0
