I was born and raised in Ibaraki Japan. I like baking, traveling, watching Netflix, and learning Spanish! I currently live in Barcelona Spain.
I have studied English in Arkansas America for a year when I was in high school. I spent the most formative time there. After high school, I went to Melbourne Australia to learn hospitality management at a vocational school for a year.
After my study I’ve worked in hospitality industry for more than 5 years.
Teaching Japanese to people from other countries was one of my dreams and I am glad to make that happen now!Me as a Teacher

I was very nervous for my first time using italki, but it went well. I'm still not that great for full conversations but Mana was very patient with me and wrote notes for me in the chat. It was a little nerve racking because I didn't know what to expect but she eased my mind on trying italki more! Thank you Mana! :)

Mana-san is so fun to talk to and very good at keeping up conversation. My goal is to get better at conversational Japanese and she was encouraging and helpful at getting me to speak in Japanese. She wrote down all the words/phrases I had trouble with in our chat and also gave me tips/advice on how else I can practice on my own. Looking forward to another session! ☺️
