Jean is an excellent teacher. He is affable and enthusiastic. He provides a friendly atmosphere during the class. He would give you the opportunity to speak as much as possible, and gently corrects any mistakes.
After the class, he would send you an email which includes various resources that were relevant to the topics that were discussed in the class. These included videos, movies, articles and book extracts that he had carefully curated.
I received videos on the French mindset, how the French is viewed by the Belgians and other Europeans, a book extract by a French labour sociologist who compared different work cultures around the world and a suggestion for a French drama movie.
I find it refreshing that Jean provides interesting materials so that the learning continues between lessons.
