My name is Jamila and I am a native Italian teacher, from Vicenza.
I am 56 years old, Italian and until 2020 I lived in northern Italy. Then I moved to Portugal, to Lisbon.
I love travelling, walking, nature, photography and art.
I am interested in the defense of human rights and the protection of the environment and animals, values that are fundamental to me.
I have a degree in Foreign Trade and have worked in Italy as a consultant and trainer in the areas of business organization and certification for quality, environment and work safety.
I have been teaching Italian online for many years, with great satisfaction and joy. Teaching allows me to meet new people and share new experiences.Me as a Teacher
I am a certified Italian teacher (CEDILS at Ca' Foscari University in Venice).
I organize lessons structured on your needs, including preparation for exams and job interviews.
I follow students from absolute beginner to advanced level, also with conversation classes.
Most of my students ask for my support for the process of moving to Italy or to prepare for a job interview or to pass the Italian exam to apply for citizenship.
But I have also helped many students in the study of Italian for pleasure, love, travel or family needs.

The first activity in my classes is conversation. Even for lower levels. We can talk about your daily life and interests, culture, science, current events, politics, books, travel, and more.
The second activity in my classes is conversation. This is not entirely a joke; when we study a foreign language we often notice the gap between our theoretical knowledge and our ability to understand what they are telling us and to speak appropriately.
Aspects of vocabulary and grammar are analyzed during the second part of the lesson or independently at home, following a textbook.
