I had lots of fun during my lesson! Teppei-Sensei made me excited to continue practicing and achieve my dream of talking to locals on my first trip to Japan. He’s able to adjust the casualness of the Japanese he teaches based on how well I already know Japanese people (not at all). I really appreciate that. Can’t wait for more lessons!

Teppei is a tremendous tutor and somebody who is comfortable with any level that you are at. He excels in making sure he feels like your teacher and a good friend. The hardest part of speaking a language you’re learning is to be comfortable making mistakes, but he encourages you do to so, just so you can practice the muscle memory of speaking what you’re learning. As soon as the lesson was over, it felt like it had just started and I already can’t wait to schedule my next one. If you want to practice any form of a conversation or even just small grammar points, his explanations and tips come across as very thorough and caring.

本当にありがとー❣️🙇🏼‍♀️ It’s been 8 months of taking lessons with mostly Teppei sensei. I’m writing another review because I recently tried lessons with some new senseis and I heard several times that I sound like I’ve been practicing Japanese for much longer! I have to thank Teppei for this because he always keeps things fun and engaging while teaching you the most natural way of saying something. Trust, you’ll never regret a lesson with Teppei sensei!😊👍

My lessons with Teppei have been great! The conversations are always enjoyable as he takes a keen interest in all sorts of things and he gives you the space to try and express yourself in Japanese as you're learning. Teppei is great at correcting errors, doing so without judgement, and without intervening too often to derail a conversation, I've learn a lot of useful phrases and words during my lessons. His English level is very high so 99% of the time he can give you a translation off the bat if you're searching for a word you don't know. More importantly the lessons are very enjoyable and a great way to practice speaking, would highly recommend!

Learning Japanese is like climbing Mt Everest but a lot more fun with Teppei san guiding you !!

Thank You for the great lesson! Teppei sensei delivers on an extremely fun and useful lesson where my learning seems important to him. I find the conversation flows naturally while he offers me gentle corrections. He shares lots of new vocabulary and with each new word, a written sentence on how to use that word in context. Very helpful and fun! Ordinarily around a teacher so young and handsome, I might be nervous but Teppei sensei has a warm personality and a great sense of humor, I feel very at home.
