Welcome to my profile! My name is Émilie, I’m 26 years old French native teacher. I first studied international trade then decided to teach French when I realized I wanted to help others and share my culture and language. I have given 1-on1 classes for more than a three years now and I truly enjoy it!
I am passionate about learning, particularly in exploring foreign countries and cultures. About my personality I’d say I’m supportive, nurturing, dedicated, caring, empathetic, cheerful and lighthearted. I also hate injustice and broccoli.
I have a lot of hobbies such as painting, cooking, hiking, photography and more. I enjoy meaningful conversations in a calm setting.Me as a Teacher

I use the trial lesson to assess your level and establish a strong connection, ensuring we’re aligned on expectations. This first meeting also helps create a comfortable, trusting atmosphere where you can feel at ease.
As a language learner myself, I share practical tools and advice that I find useful for effective and enjoyable learning. My lessons & teaching style
For beginners and intermediate students, I structure the lessons into four main parts: reviewing previous material (grammar and vocabulary), introducing a new topic, practicing through exercises, and ending with feedback to guide your progress.
In conversation lessons, I prefer a relaxed approach where we discuss a variety of topics, using the subject matter as a means to improve your speaking skills. I always aim to keep the sessions enjoyable!
I incorporate a variety of materials, including videos, music, and slideshows. I design personalized lessons by drawing on reliable resources such as books and online materials, adding my own touch to make them more relevant and engaging for you.My teaching material

Some of them have reached a fluent level of speaking and can now express themselves feeling comfortable with the language. Others have been accepted in most famous universities in Paris to get their degree and follow their course using French.
When I get to meet with hardworking and dedicated students I'm really the happiest seeing them reaching their goals!

Émilie is a great teacher! Speaking is my weakest link in French and I get tongue tied and flustered when I can't find the right words, but Émilie is so calm and friendly, I can recover and continue speaking without spiralling from being anxious or embarrassed. Highly recommend!
