Salve a tutti! Mi chiamo Gerry e sono un insegnante di madrelingua italiana dal 2013. Oltre all’italiano, insegno anche l’inglese poiché possiedo la certificazione CELTA dell’Università di Cambridge. I have a Master's Degree in Communication Studies and a Diploma in Management. Moreover, I was awarded a CELTA qualification (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) by the University of Cambridge.

Me as a Teacher

Al momento supporto studenti di tutto il mondo nell’apprendimento online a qualsiasi livello. Mi occupo prevalentemente di adulti, anche se ho avuto come studenti adolescenti e qualche bambino. I currently support students with their goals by teaching them Italian and English online via Skype. I am very patient and friendly. Over the years, I have taught all kinds of language learners.

Nelle mie lezioni utilizzo libri di testo, risorse online e tutto quello che potrebbe essere utile per lo studio di una lingua straniera. Avendo molta esperienza, ho raccolto nel tempo parecchi materiali interessanti ed efficaci. Inoltre, allo studio della grammatica e del vocabolario, affianco la conversazione. Mi interesso di molti argomenti, dal cinema alla letteratura, dallo sport alla politica, ecc. I use very effective textbooks for my students. In addition, I like to have conversations. In my opinion, knowing the secrets of everyday language is also important.

Gerry is a very patient and a natural born teacher. He made me feel at ease...listened and I was amazed he actually understood what I was meaning to say and could help me along the way with a better way to say it or what the word I was trying to find was. He wrote the words down for me throughout the lesson so I could also study them for later. Excellent session! Thank you Gerry!!!
