Summer is a patient teacher! She listened to me attentively and gave valuable feedback. I was so nervous during the lesson that I couldn't organize my sentences well. Summer helped me reorganize what I wanted to say, which helped me learn how to make up sentences. She also taught me some common expressions used by local Koreans. I enjoyed the lesson very much as I understood mostly what Summer said, and I had lots of chances to practice Korean and receive relevant feedback.

I have always had trouble pronouncing Korean words correctly, especially when there are the "liaison" of word sounds. Summer is not only extremely patient teacher but takes the time to point out the exact trouble spots that I need to correct. I feel very fortunate to have found her as I am sure my Korean will improve with her help. She also is a strong believer in language immersion and refrains from using any English during class. While it is difficult for me I am sure I will improve over time as I am gradually acquiring the language--making it a part of me-- in addition to learning it.

Today we discussed shopping - where we usually shop, things we bought recently, and things that we bought, but regret buying. Summer 선생님 is a great teacher. Even though my Korean is not very good, we were able to speak in Korean the entire time. 여름 선생님 is very good at using simpler Korean words to explain any vocabulary you don't know whereas many other teachers would immediately fall back into English, breaking immersion which is so important when learning foreign languages. 여럼 선생님 is a great listener, and also good at paraphrasing and repeating what you're saying in a more natural way, which is very helpful. I highly recommend 여름 선생님 as a Korean teacher
