I have served as a Deacon across multiple Churches in Sydney, learning and reading the Aramaic language. I was ordained into the Priesthood and served as a Priest at St Hurmizd Cathedral, St. Mary's Parish, St George’s, St. Peters and Paul’s Parish.
While performing and fulfilling my Priesthood duties in Sydney, I commenced Theological studies at Nisibis Theological College. After completing my service in Sydney, I travelled to Greece to serve the Assyrian community in St Mary's Parish, Athens and Thessaloniki.Me as a Teacher
While serving as a priest in Sydney, I taught the Aramaic language to students embarking on becoming fluent readers.
Upon moving to Greece, I began teaching face-to-face clergy, choir, and general parishioners the language to read during liturgical services fluently. Moreover, I also introduced the Aramaic language to the local Greek people, both academic and non-academic.
My teaching expanded online, where I currently teach Aramaic to various academic and non-academic students. Likewise, I can assist those interested in Aramaic Scripture, hymns, songs, praises or general history. My lessons & teaching style
Always having fun and keeping it simple is the most crucial aspect of learning.
I offer a threefold structure option in my teaching style.
1) Aramaic Language:
If you want to learn the Aramaic language, we will begin with an introduction and alphabet, followed by vowels, and then passage reading.
2) Biblical studies:
Or we can explore the Holy Bible together and discover the word of God in English or Aramaic. We can examine passages and discuss Biblical verses in the Old and New Testaments.
3) Spiritual guidance:
Or else, if you are going through a rough patch in life and would like guidance, we can discuss the best path for your life and get you back on track stronger than ever.My teaching material
