About Me

My name is Fasika, it means Easter in Amharic. I was born and raised in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. I am currently doing my Master's degree in Economics in Venice Italy. I am an Amharic language teacher here in Italki.
Me as a Teacher
I believe that communication is crucial for the teaching and learning process. So I am open to discussions on how we can develop your language skills. In addition, I prefer to have relaxed classes as well as productive. So we can organize some lessons for an interesting discussion as well as practicing on writing and reading.
My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is based on conversations, discussions on new topics, and in-classroom quizzes. In addition, I will provide material to help you practice when outside of class.

Fasika gave me an overview of all the tenses in Amharic. She explained me the origin of the verbs and how to form regular tenses. It's complicated but Fasika makes it look a lot easier. Thank you for that!

Fasika Mulu is such a motivating and incredibly knowledgable teacher. She has helped me to form sentences in such a short period of time.
