World Traveler teaches English!!!-- Conversation, Resumés, Interviewing for Jobs, Papers and more!! I have traveled the world (Antarctica, Europe, Asia, the Middle East) and have enjoyed learning new languages myself. I have been to Antarctica for 2 months (including South Pole!), China 4 times for 2 weeks at a time, to the Middle East, including living in the UAE, and travelling/studying in Israel, and have lived in England (2 years) and Greece (15 months). I am a semi-retired Air Force chaplain living in Iowa (USA) and a former Hebrew linguist with seven children (4 children from China) and three grandchildren. I enjoy teaching and have successfully finished the TEFL certification with highest marks (A). I have completed academic training in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I am a Certified Job & Career Transition Coach. I have Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Religion and Biblical Interpretation (Hebrew & Greek). I've started a PhD program in Biblical Exposition. My former jobs include teaching resumé-writing and interviewing, as well as teaching college-level Philosophy, World Religions, Art and Music History, and Ethics ... so there are a lot of things I can help you with ... and things we can talk about as you improve your English skills. I believe in student-centered learning, and having FUN while learning, so I will ask you what you need and how I can best be of help to you in achieving your goals. I can be as formal or as informal as you want. I also understand, speak, read, and write Hebrew pretty well :)
