Ich bin Maria Joao, portugiesische Staatsbürgerin, lebe aber in Deutschland. Bin verheiratet, und habe zwei Kinder. Beruflich bin ich in der Notaufnahme als Krankenschwester tätig.Me as a Teacher
Ich habe bereits für Bekannte und Verwandte als Sprachlehrer gearbeitet, für diejenigen die in der Portugiesisch sprechenden Welt unterwegs sein wollten. Den Unterricht gestalte ich immer nach Lust und Laune meiner Schüler. Ich bin ganz der Meinung dass sich mit Spaß und Freude am leichtesten lern.My lessons & teaching style
Den Unterricht gestalte ich gerne individuell den Interessen meiner Schüler entsprechend. Auch bin ich flexibel beim Anpassen des Lehrmaterials. Dabei wird natürlich dass Lernziel nicht vernachlässigt.My teaching material

What an enjoyable lesson with Maria! She is patient and encouraging and asked questions to get me talking more. I like how the focus was on speaking--she gave little grammar tips here and there, but mostly she allowed me to talk. It was fun interacting with her, and it felt great to be speaking in Portuguese about engaging subjects.
