I prefer a casual and open style of teaching. It's best not to worry about the small specific things in the beginning. Imagine we are meeting as friends in a public place like a park or café. For now, we won't be using any bulky textbooks or worksheets as they may overwhelm us both. Let's keep it real and simple!
