I studied German at the University of Cologne for a teaching degree. So I am a trained German teacher.
Meanwhile I have many years of professional experience. I would like to help you improve your German and celebrate success in learning the German language.
As a teacher, I am interested in helping you individually and to prepare my lessons based on your personal needs and goals.My lessons & teaching style
It is important to me that my lessons are fun and engaging. That's why I use different materials and methods. My lessons are mostly structured lessons with textbook and grammar exercises.
I work via Skype or Zoom. If you want, you can also receive homework from me.

Ich habe etwa 3 Monate lang bei Irma gelernt. Mein Ziel war es, meine Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch zu verbessern. Irma hat auch meine schriftlichen Hausaufgaben kontrolliert.
In dieser Zeit hat sich mein Deutsch so sehr verbessert, dass ich mich sicher genug fühlte, um auf Deutsch zu arbeiten.
Irma bereitet sich immer auf den Unterricht vor und schlägt interessante Themen für Gespräche vor. Ich habe mich in unserem Deutschunterricht wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ich kann Irma als Lehrerin sehr empfehlen!

Irma is a great teacher. She’s really nice and makes learning fun, not stressful at all. Our conversations are engaging, she asks interesting questions to keep the conversation going, time flies. And she corrects me when I make mistakes without interrupting me. Danke, Irma! :)
