😊 Your fellow OTAKU Japanese teacher | Games, Manga & Anime welcome | Shy & introvert-friendly 📚 More than just conversation | Natural corrections without interruption | Deep-dive & otaku questions welcome | Free diary correction for regulars | Nuance & context explained 🩷 I love • Games: FF6 & 10, Yakuza, The Witcher 3 • Anime: Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, HUNTER×HUNTER, Death Note, Frieren ✅ What you can expect ・Guided conversation with gentle recasts (no interruption, no pressure) ・English support when needed ・Free diary correction for regulars This is more than casual conversation. I share useful words and phrases in the chat and explain subtle differences in meaning and nuance, so you can learn while you speak. I guide conversations with thoughtful questions based on your interests. Otaku topics like games, anime, and manga are always welcome! ✅ My strengths ・Context & nuance beyond small talk ・Clear explanations in English ・Supportive, inclusive lessons for all levels 🙏 Not a good fit if… ・You mainly want joke-heavy conversation ・You’re looking for the cheapest lessons ⚠️ Notice ・Lesson availability may change because I travel often. ・Lesson prices are subject to change without notice. ✅ Feedback I usually use recasts instead of interrupting. Example: You: きのう、友達と「会います」（←wrong） Me: そうですか。きのう、友達と「会いました」（←correct）ね。 ✅ What I ask of students I’ll guide the conversation, but I expect active participation (no need to be perfect!). Don’t just stay quiet and wait for me to ask all the questions. A real conversation needs both sides to participate 😊

This was my first lesson, and the conversation with the teacher was very relaxed and comfortable. Teacher Aiko clearly understood my Japanese learning needs and arranged a suitable course plan for me. Even as a beginner, I found the lesson very interesting and enjoyable^^ I’m already looking forward to the next lesson!!
