I’ve had Russian tutors in the past, but Vera is - without a doubt - the last Russian tutor you will ever need. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and brings a calm confidence to every lesson that makes learning Russian feel not only possible—but actually enjoyable. What really sets her apart is her warm, encouraging energy. She makes learning feel natural, and it’s clear she truly cares about her students’ progress. I always look forward to our sessions—they’re a highlight of my week. I’ve made more progress with Vera in a few weeks than I did in months on my own. Whether you’re just starting out or refining your fluency, I can’t recommend her enough. She’s truly one of a kind.

Vera is the perfect Russian teacher. She is funny and charismatic. She is patient even on the days that my Russian is at toddler level. She is always interesting and never boring. She accepts me no matter what mood or level I bring to the table. She understands enough English to answer translation questions but never speaks English so we never break the Russian convo. Favorite Russian around I wish her all the success and I understand if her price goes up, cuz she’s worth it.
