Do you feel textbook Japanese is too fast? My friends say I speak slowly and politely. I organize my thoughts before speaking, making me easy to understand even for beginners. My lessons are as relaxed as a cozy cafe. I love "traveling" through flavors! To save on travel costs, I recreate world cuisines at home. Currently, I'm into quick camping meals. I'd love to hear about your favorite local dishes! As a former band member, I love rock. I also listen to K-pop, though I get shy because the artists are so stunning! From classic movies to the latest anime and dramas, we can talk about anything you enjoy. Let’s enjoy "real" communication without the stress. I look forward to seeing you!

When I first started taking lessons online I would get really nervous , however since I’ve been taking classes with keisuke I find myself getting more and more excited before each class! He really does a good job creating and fun and relaxing environment when learning! Highly recommend

When I came to italki, I had studied Japanese (both in a classroom and on my own), but it had been a long time since I had practiced speaking Japanese. I had a trip to Japan coming up and I was looking for a tutor with similar interests that I could just practice casually speaking with and could help me feel less nervous about speaking Japanese. Keisuke-sensei is exactly what I was looking for. I have fun talking with him about food, games, anime, and movies and our time passes by quickly. And he helps whenever I have trouble. After our lessons, in the feedback, he gives a list of words/phrases that I struggled with, so I can study them for next time. It's a big help. I definitely recommend him!

Keisuke san has been so far the best experience I’ve had on italki. He was very friendly and reassuring, given the fact that this is the first time I ever spoke to a Japanese person in preparation for my trip. The main thing I want to mention is how much effort he puts in to tailor the lessons to your needs and interests. I mentioned that I liked the anime Spy x Family, and that I was planning a trip to Japan, and before I knew it, I was receiving homework tailor made to my interests: one of them was a quiz about travel vocabulary, and another was an excerpt from the internet about the USJ Spy x Family attraction with questions to test my understanding. Keisuke san has set a new standard for me when it comes to teachers.

今日もありがとうございます。 電動自動車のことをちょっと調べてました。 車内で大きなスクリーンを搭載し、歌を歌ったり映画を見たりできるそうです。 ことわざのレッスンはたぶん一年前のことじゃなくて二年前のことかもしれません。 春雨というものは中国語で粉丝と呼ばれる。 日本語の呼び方のほうがかわいいと思います。

Had my first lesson today and Keisuke's friendly attitude immediately put me at ease. He spoke very clearly and at a perfect speed where I could understand, but not so slow that it was unnatural. I'm looking forward to more lessons in the future.
