I am very happy with the lessons I have had with Tatiana. She is always well prepared with more than enough material to keep the lesson going and to hold the learner's attention all of the time. As a language teacher myself, I would say Tatiana is a natural teacher and that my knowledge of the Russian language is better at the end of each lesson than it was at the beginning. And that's the aim of any lesson.

I was very impressed by the lesson I had with Tatiana! She prepared a full, multimodal lesson plan that included some short readings, listening comprehension using a scene from a popular TV show, a list of useful terms and slang connected with the central theme of the lesson, and engaging conversation for our entire hour. She was even able to adapt and customize the materials as the lesson progressed to meet my level of Russian and overall goals. Very professional and thoughtful!

I can highly recommend lessons with Tatyana - she is easy to talk to, the lessons are fun and my Russian has improved immensely this year. I've had 22 lessons so far and my goal was to improve my conversational skills. I still make a lot of mistakes but it's easy to practice with Tatyana because she knows when to help me out and when to wait for me to remember the correct words. She's really encouraging and I like how she teaches topic by topic.

Tatiana is a phenomenal Russian teacher who is extremely willing to help, whilst also not being at all pushy. She truly helped me to see some flaws in my Russian which I’ve never noticed before, and was very supportive of the progress I’ve already made. I’d definitely recommend her for anyone learning Russian as a foreign language! I know for sure that I’ll be booking another lesson.

Tatyana made the class really interesting by threading cultural aspects of her city into the intro to Russian, and being really kind on the initial onboarding to the language. As someone with no prior experience on Russian it was a real treat!
