Hi, My name is Edisson and I am from Cameroon who has both French and English as our official languages. Growing up, I was in an area where French was the major language spoken and while attending school I studied mosly in English aand French hence being a bilingual.
My love for teaching together with my hobbies, which includes tourism, science, sports, culture, music, movies, and languages encourages me to

I am an agricultural engineer with two years teaching experience working in a technical agricultural school to train agricultural technicians. I come from a bilingual country and I use French and English in my class depending on the students’ needs. This flexibility helps me to be able to interact with the learners in whichever of the two languages that they prefer.
This is a profession, which I enjoy doing a lot since it gives me immense satisfaction; the academic skills that I was trained on during my training program have enabled me to be confident, and at ease while developing the teaching skills. I am willing to apply this passion for helping my students develop to language instructiMy lessons & teaching style
I have been teaching French both online and offline for about 3 years for which I have had excellent results. I get a lot of pleasure out of teaching students of diverse cultures and origins because one always gets to learn something new while sharing about ourselves.
The lessons I provide are all about what you want to achieve. It includes voices lessons, conversation, grammar, exam/Interview preparation, vocabulary and travel French.

My 7th grade son had his first French lesson with Edisson on italki, and it was a fantastic start! Edisson was kind, patient, and made the lesson both fun and engaging. My son felt at ease and picked up some basic phrases right away. We’re really happy with the experience and looking forward to more lessons with Edisson!

Edisson was very enthusiastic, friendly and patient with me. The lesson was well-structured, and I had plenty of chances to practice speaking. He did a great job keeping the conversation going when I was stuck, helped me rephrase sentences so that they flowed better, and offered French vocabulary when needed. I had a great experience and would highly recommend having Edisson as a teacher!
