Hello, my name is Anna. I am from the United States, and currently living in Lima, Peru. I have three years of experience teaching English. I also have a lifetime of experience as a foreign language student. I love to travel and meet new people. Most recently I traveled to the Amazon Rainforest and stayed in a treehouse! I also love music, art, and spending time in nature. I’m looking forward to speaking with you!Me as a Teacher
After spending years in foreign language classes I approach my teaching with the empathy of a student. I strive to create a positive learning environment where students can feel comfortable making mistakes. That’s how you learn! I always provide positive reinforcement and supportive constructive criticism. I am flexible and open to adapting class time to your needs.My lessons & teaching style
Depending on your needs and interests we will practice conversation topics. Following an initial informal assessment of your skill level, I will tailor our class time to focus on your specific learning needs. I will provide supporting resources on grammar questions that may come up in conversation. After every class, I will provide feedback regarding areas in which you are excelling and specific areas for you to further focus your review.My teaching material
