Hello, my name is Daniela. I am a Spanish tutor. I am Mexican.
I like spending time with my family, dancing, reading and traveling, among other things. I also like to meet more people. I really enjoy teaching Spanish to both children and adults.
Many people who know me say that I am patient. I believe that many times this quality helps, like learning a new language.Me as a Teacher
I have more than 8 years of experience in the teaching field.
During my career as a TSU I studied Spanish. This allowed me to have some knowledge in grammar and spelling.
But I have benefited much more from some courses and diplomas that I recently took. These helped me to implement in my classes a good technique to teach Spanish in an attractive and effective way. Some of these courses taught me that there are students who need to learn at their own pace and with a different methodology, for example those who have learning disabilities such as dyslexia.My lessons & teaching style
My classes are adapted to the needs of my students. I focus on practical activities, i.e. environments or situations in which you need to use the language. I also try to use different materials to teach them, for example songs, videos, games, readings, pictures, etc.
One method of teaching that I and my students like is to create a story together from a photograph. This activity allows us to practice the language with the vocabulary or grammatical structures that we use daily.
An activity that helps to make the class more enjoyable and fun is the mental break. This activity helps to keep the attention in the class.My teaching material
