I'm Lily. I'm a Chinese teacher and a botanical illustrator, which is to say, apart from teaching Chinese, I take a lot of time on drawing and painting plants. My hometown is a small city in north China. Now I live in Oslo. Before I moved to Norway, I was studying and working in Beijing, then I spent one year in England to finish my Master Degree. There is a lot of fun to experience different culture and make new friends.Me as a Teacher
I've been teaching Chinese for many years, including learning together with language partners and teaching in a private language school in Beijing before I started working on Italki. I also got two Master Degrees on Education (from Beijing and England), which bring me wider perspective as a teacher.My lessons & teaching style
Mainly focus on talking, correcting grammar and pronunciation errors, sometimes use other materials such as textbooks or according to the students' requirements. I have more experience teaching adults than children.My teaching material

Li li was super sweet and patient. It was my first lesson and even though we hadn’t communicated prior to the lesson about what I wanted to do she was quick to come up with a great plan. She was very patient and helpful to answer all of my questions.
