My name is Ayaki. I was born and grew up in Osaka, Japan.
I like baking, reading, playing piano and walking in mountains and nature. I traveled a lot around Japan, but especially love traveling to various countries overseas because it broadens my horizons and motivates me to keep learning. I am interested in different cultures and histories and enjoy learning new things.Me as a Teacher
I have experience teaching Japanese to school students at secondary school in England and adult learners in language schools, and I am qualified to teach students at all levels.
I am friendly, understanding and have a passion for education. I find it most rewarding to help and guide students to achieve their goals.
I speak English and Korean. Also, I understand a little Chinese (Mandarin) as I lived and studied in China when I was student. Through my experience of learning other languages, I know how challenging it is to learn a new language. Learning should be fun and interesting. I aim to make lessons enjoyable, efficient and effective.My lessons & teaching style

Japanese language teacher qualification - ARC ACADEMY - 2007I have completed 420 hours of training in Japanese language education approved by the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan, and obtained the teaching qualification in addition to a University degree. I have also passed the Japanese Language Teaching Proficiency Test that measures Japanese Linguistics knowledge and the ability to respond in education.
With these recognition, I am qualified to teach Japanese to students of all levels in educational institutions both in Japan and overseas.

I enjoyed my conversation lessons with Ayaki sensei a lot. She helped me build my confidence in speaking, teaching me new words in various topics we discussed. She is also very encouraging and kind. I feel very comfortable and always look forward to having lessons with her.
